I use this more than I thought I would. Started with onions, now I’m throwing in nuts, herbs, even making quick tuna mix in it. It chops fast, like 5 6 pulls and you’re already there for a rough cut. Build feels decent not heavy duty like a big processor, but not cheap either. The cord snaps back smooth every time so far. One thing tho, if you’re doing something wet like tomatoes, don’t go crazy with pulls or it turns into a puree real quick. Once you get the feel for it, it’s actually super handy.

I live in a tiny apartment with barely any counter space, so bulky appliances are a no. This little thing is PERFECT. I’ve been using it for salsa prep (tomatoes, onion, cilantro) and it gets everything nice and consistent without turning it into mush. The pull control actually works you can stop when it looks how you want. Also it doesn’t slide around thanks to the base, which I didn’t expect but appreciate. Only heads up: the blades are SHARP sharp, so be careful when washing. Learned that the hard way 😅

I grabbed this mostly for onions because I hate chopping them (and yeah, the tears). First use, I was kinda skeptical, but after like 10 pulls boom, evenly chopped, no mess on the board. It’s actually kinda satisfying using the pull string lol. I’ve also used it for garlic and peppers, works just as good. Just don’t overfill it or it won’t chop evenly that’s the only learning curve. Cleaning is quick too, I just rinse it right away and done. For 12 bucks or whatever, it’s a no-brainer.
